Testimonials
“On behalf of The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce, I extend our heartfelt thanks to 100 Good Men Who Give a Damn Grey Bruce for your incredible generosity and dedication to making a difference in our community. Your nomination and subsequent awarding of $15,000 to our organization have created a significant and lasting impact on the lives of youth living here in our community.
For over 40 years, The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce has been a refuge for thousands of women fleeing domestic violence. However, our services go beyond the women’s shelter. We also operate Studio Blue Youth Services, a program dedicated to providing a safe haven for youth aged 15–18 who have been affected by, or are at risk of, human trafficking. This issue is alarmingly prevalent, with Ontario accounting for nearly 70% of Canada’s reported human trafficking incidents, and growing concerns within the Grey Bruce area.
Your contribution is helping us address one of the critical needs of Studio Blue: the renovation of the youth residence kitchen. A kitchen is far more than just a functional space—it is the heart of our home. It is where vulnerable youth gather to share meals, connect with one another, and learn life skills that will empower them as they rebuild their lives. Thanks to your support, we can replace our outdated and failing appliances and cabinetry, transforming the kitchen into a welcoming, functional, and nurturing environment.
Additionally, part of your generous donation will help stock our freezer, fridge, and pantry, ensuring that the youth in our care have access to nutritious meals as they heal and grow. This investment directly contributes to their well-being and recovery, providing stability and a sense of community that many of these young people have never experienced.
In recognition of your support, we will proudly display a plaque in the new kitchen, serving as a permanent reminder of the compassion and commitment of the 100 Good Men Who Give a Damn Grey Bruce. Your generosity is not only an investment in our facilities but also in the futures of the youth we serve—teenagers who could be classmates, friends, or even children of those in our community.
It is men who do NOT give a damn who perpetuate the cycles of trauma and exploitation. But it is men like YOU—men who DO give a damn—who make healing, safety, and brighter futures possible for those in need. Your support embodies the power of collective action, and together, we are changing young lives in Grey Bruce for the better. Thank you for standing with us in the fight against human trafficking and for helping us provide a place of hope and healing for vulnerable youth. Your contribution is truly transforming lives.
On behalf of everyone at the REACH Centre Grey Bruce, please accept our deepest
thanks to 100 Good Men That Give a Damn, for your generous donation in support of
our programming for youth and adults with disabilities.
Thanks to your support, we’ve already been able to send 24 participants to learn
woodworking through an exciting partnership with the Grey Bruce Makers Space. This
fall, we’re looking forward to expanding the program to include metalworking, offering
even more hands-on learning opportunities.
We are also thrilled to be partnering with GB Arts to introduce workshops in jewelry
making, pottery, and more. None of this would be possible without your generosity.
These are not just programs—they are life-changing opportunities for vulnerable
individuals who might not otherwise have had the chance to explore their creativity
and build skills in safe, inclusive, and fully accommodated environments that
celebrate their unique challenges and gifts.
From all of us at REACH, thank you for helping to make this vision a reality.
On behalf of the Grey Bruce Pregnancy Centre, I want to extend our deepest thanks to 100 Good Men Who
Give a Damn for their extraordinary support. Your generous donation significantly strengthens our ability to
offer services such as free pregnancy testing, eduction on options, prenatal, and lactation services as well as
and comprehensive support for mothers and families.
The funds will directly fund programs and essential items—car seats, strollers, cribs, maternity and baby
clothing, formula and diapers—helping us meet families where they are and empowering them to thrive.
This act of kindness reflects a shared belief that every life deserves respect, every story matters.
Our families stay with us for many years as we are able to provide support until their children attend
kindergarten.
We are humbled by this generous donation and grateful for the positive impact you are helping us
create in Grey Bruce. We are honoured to be part of a community that lifts families with dignity and care.
A heartfelt thank you from the staff, volunteers and board of directors at the Pregnancy Centre
Last night was an amazing experience! The Grey Bruce Hospice Foundation was honoured to be one of three charities, alongside Brightshores Wellness & Recovery, and The Historic Leith Church, invited to speak to the incredible group 100 + Good Men Who Give a Damn. Each charity shared a heartfelt five-minute speech on why we are deserving of their support. All presenters did an amazing job, and we are thrilled to announce that, at the end of the night, the votes were tallied, and The Grey Bruce Hospice Foundation was awarded $18,200!
This generous contribution will make a significant impact in helping the Grey & Bruce communities residents receive exceptional palliative care. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and voted. Your support truly means the world to us. What an amazing group of men doing so much good for our community!
Thank You!
